You know them well, but by another name, or six. They won 29 awards in this year’s Arizona Newspapers Association competition, and they took first place in 10 categories. They connect all parts of the Tucson region like “Rotary connects the world.”
Casey Anderson is the Associate Publisher and Chief Operating Officer of Tucson Local Media, a conglomerate of local newspapers, where she has served for 4 years largely in advertising and marketing roles. She has also operated her own consulting business for the past 10 years. Casey was previously employed in key management positions by the American Heart Association, the Tucson Convention Center, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Kellen Company, and the Osceola (Florida) Heritage Park, dating back to 2004. Casey is a 2002 graduate of the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Business. She is on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson, she has been a mentor for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America, and she was a recent presenter at the YWCA’s Women’s Leadership Conference.
