One of Arizona’s treasures, Chiricahua National Monument is a special combination of spectacular geology – the balanced rocks and pinnacles, diverse plants and wildlife from four ecosystems, plus a wide range of cultural history. Discover some of the many secrets behind the scenery and why you should plan a road trip to the monument during this presentation by Park Ranger, Suzanne Moody.

Suzanne Moody is a National Park Service (NPS) ranger at Chiricahua National Monument. You might have met her at the visitor center. After three years of NPS seasonal work moving between five parks in the West, she was hired at Chiricahua in the perfect permanent job 20+ years ago. The beauty and variety of resources found within this wonderland of rocks still captivates her as she loves sharing their stories with visitors.
