Carson Fuls will outline the Catalina Sky Survey’s NASA-funded mission to discover Near-Earth Objects (NEOs). He’ll cover how the program started, why finding NEOs is important, and exactly how new discoveries are made.

Carson is a Senior Research Specialist for the Catalina Sky Survey based at the University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Laboratory. He started there in 2015 after earning his BS and MS in physics at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX.
