Women make a vital contribution to the success of not only Catalina Rotary, but also District 5500 and the Rotary world at large. However, for most of Rotary’s history, in fact, during the first 82 years of Rotary, women were excluded from Rotary membership. District 5500 Governor Elect Ellie Patterson, will share with us the challenges of women being accepted into Rotary and what it took to make that happen.
