My Rotary Story
I was a visitor when the International Rescue Mission came to speak to the Catalina Rotary Club. I found the situations immigrant families are going through to be very heartbreaking. I am now partnered with IRC to provide welcome bags to children twelve and younger so they have something new when they come to a new place. My hope and prayer is to support the families with school supplies and new toys.

How long in Tucson
I moved to Tucson in 1992 and then moved away, living in Guam from 2000-2002. I knew God had a sense of humor when he brought me back to Tucson because I loved scuba diving! I moved again in 2006 for about 6 months, living in the Azores, Portugal, before moving back home. I was accepted into The Salvation Army training school (seminary school) in 2009 and returned to Tucson in 2021 as a corps officer of the Tucson All Nations Corps.

My husband and I have four boys. As of 2023, the oldest is attending Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona, the second oldest is a high school senior, our third is in fifth grade and our youngest is in third grade.
