My Rotary Story
It meant a lot to me that, when I was president, my club made a 10-year commitment to provide funding for a young woman to be educated. She became a nurse. Change the life of a young girl, change a family! That was the goal.
In India, it was inspiring to see Rotary’s reach throughout the world in hospitals and orphanages. The Rotary hosts that provided family stays were awesome. So much poverty, though. Inspirational interactions with groups Rotary is helping was amazing.
