Article XII
Honorary Membership; Eligibility & Election
In the application of Article 10, Section 6 of the RI Standard Club Constitution (Honorary Membership), it is the policy of this Club that the required “meritorious service in the furtherance of Rotary ideals” shall have been significant in scope and extended in time to be eligible for consideration. Past Club Officers without additional Rotary service as so defined are not automatically eligible for consideration. It shall be the policy of this Club to extend Honorary membership for no more than one Rotary year at a time and to vote at the Board’s regularly scheduled May meeting on the extension of such memberships for an additional year. No person shall simultaneously hold Active and Honorary membership in this Club.
