ClubRunner is a cloud-based system that over 5,000 clubs use to promote membership engagement and retention, including over 90% of the Rotary Clubs in North America. Catalina Rotary has recently converted to ClubRunner to manage our own club and member information as well as to bring back “The Wagon Wheel,” our club weekly newsletter, now in e-bulletin format. This week, Club Secretary Tony Spear, will give a presentation on how Catalina Rotary is currently using ClubRunner as well as how each member can use this new tool to enhance their own Catalina Rotary experience.
Tony Spear has over 20 years of marketing and business management experience. After a career in engineering management, he has filled sales and marketing positions for several companies and has consulted with various other clients regarding internet marketing issues. He also has been a Rotarian for over 25 years and has served various club and district roles including board member, program chair, club president and assistant district governor. In addition to his current duties as club secretary, Tony is serving District 5500 as part of the district newsletter team. He holds degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue and Stanford University as well as a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from the University of California Berkeley.
