Rotarian and Past Catalina Club President (68-69) Harry Robertson made the early years of Catalina strong and sustainable. His wife, Melissa, was an ace in animal rescue. Get ready for a treat — their granddaughter, Stacy Butler, will be our program speaker this week. As they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Stacy, a prof at the UA College of Law, will share with us her dream of providing justice for those who need a little help. Her brain trust is the two-year-old, highly-successful “Step Up to Justice”.

Stacy Butler, Esq., is a Professor of Practice and the Director of Innovation for Justice at the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. After graduating from Trinity University, she received her Juris Doctor degree (summa cum laude) from the UA College of Law in 2002. Prior to taking her current position in 2018, she was a judicial clerk at the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in Phoenix; an associate attorney at the law firm of DeConcini, McDonald, Yetwin & Lacy in Tucson; a judicial clerk at the U.S. District Court in Tucson; and a part-time professor of practice at the James E. Rogers College of Law. She has been active in developing and supporting volunteerism in the Pima County legal community since 1998, and she is the current board president of Step Up to Justice.
