God’s Mercy Orphanage Center (GMOC) is the recipient of a Global Grant put together between Clubs in District 6000 in Iowa (our own Merle Anderson’s home club) and District 9211 in Kisoro, Uganda. Merle presented a program a couple of years ago that pertained to the intent of this grant. This week’s program will show that, in Rotary, inspirations do lead to actions, with the results of two of the major parts of this grant. A photo in the grant newsletter shows the 34 kids in GMOC dressed in their finest at their recent Christmas celebration.
