Topic: The current status of senior housing in Tucson.
Dr. Linda Hollis holds a PhD. in Psychology and earned a Master’s degree in Gerontology, studying Alzheimer’s disease. She also earned an Educational Specialist degree focusing on child and adolescent development and mental health counseling.
Dr. Hollis is currently the Chief Executive Officer at St. Luke’s Home. St. Luke’s home is a 100 year old holistic assisted living community for people 55 and older of limited financial means.
Her career spans more than 20 years in various sectors including nonprofits, behavioral health clinics, educational institutions and nursing homes always holding Elder care near and dear. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Catholic Community Services in Tucson and Sierra Vista.
In July of 2020 Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick recognized Linda as a Hero for her work as CEO of St Luke’s and the concern and care she had given the elders during this age of COVID-19.
