Catalina Rotary Club member Dave Gallaher has been a member of Rotary since 1990 and served in many capacities with his previous club, Tucson Rotary, including as club president 2013/2014. The Adopt A Native Elder program began in 1984 and currently provides badly needed food and generic welfare needs such as medicines, cooking items and medical supplies. ANE’s mission is to help Native American elders live their lives with dignity and provide social opportunities for the elders in remote reservation villages. Dave’s presentation will talk about the Navajo people and Dave’s first hands-on service work delivering food and supplies to remote locations on the Navajo Reservation.
