Virgil Hancock III is a photographer and writer. Bisbee: The Alchemical City of the Borderlands is his fifth photography book. This book was selected as one of the “top pics” for the 2024 Southwest Books of the Year at the Tucson Festival of Books. Virgil’s talk focuses on both the book and relevant issues regarding Bisbee over the two years since the book was published.
