Leo Lawrenson was born in Cheyenne, WY, and attended multiple schools in 20 states and 2 countries. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and then retired in 2005 as a Colonel with 30 years with the Air Force.

After his military career, he worked for Lehman Brothers in the Student Loan, Education, Health, Housing, Power, Special Products, and Banking Services Groups. Leo then founded Lawrenson Services, a firm providing a wide range of technical public and corporate financial services.

Leo has been a Rotarian since 2009, and has held nearly every club officer position, including serving as President in three different clubs. He is currently a Rotary Leadership Institute Discussion Leader and Tech Support Specialist, as well as a ShelterBox Hall of Fame Ambassador. Now a member of the Oro Valley Club, he is the President and Club Webmaster.
