Dr. Teresa Hill received a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from New Mexico State University in 1993. She taught math, dance, and was assistant principal at Flowing Wells High in Tucson, Arizona. She earned her master’s degree in 2001 and doctorate degree in 2019 from Northern Arizona University in Educational Leadership. From 2011-2022, she was the principal of Walden Grove High in Sahuarita, AZ. She is a part-time faculty for Northern Arizona University, where she teaches education law and personnel. In 2022, she became the Deputy Director for the Arizona Educational Foundation and as of January 2024, is the Chief Executive Officer for Tucson Values Teachers.
Teresa is originally from Las Cruces, NM, but has been a Tucsonan for 32 years. She has a 26 year-old daughter and 23 year-old son. She has been married to her college sweetheart for 27 years and loves spending time with him at their cabin in Alpine, Arizona. She also enjoys hiking, hunting, and spending time outdoors.
