Captain Kristy Church is stationed at the The Salvation Army Tucson Amphi Community Center.
Kristy is from Tucson. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Arizona, then left Arizona. She felt the calling to be an officer in The Salvation Army during the Christmas season and was the last to be accepted for her session. After two years of training, my family moved to Portland; Caldwell (Idaho); Roseburg (Oregon) and then back to Tucson where Kristy received her master’s degree. She and her husband, who is also an officer in The Salvation Army, have four boys, ages 20, 17, 11, and 9. Kristy’s ministry at the Tucson Amphi Corps is God-focused and its mission is to love everyone as God loves us.
