Kimberly Ely is Patronato San Xavier’s Development Director. She’ll outline Patronato’s role as the non-sectarian, non-profit charged with raising and directing funding to conserve the fragile art and architecture of Mission San Xavier del Bac. The mission is one of the most culturally significant at-risk sites in the world.

Kimberly joined Patronato San Xavier in July 2018. She is Patronato’s first Development Director. She formerly held the position of Vice President of Development for the Tucson Symphony.

Prior to that, Kimberly spent 20 years in Nashville, Tennessee, serving as Vice President of Development for the historic Cheekwood Estate & Gardens. She also raised funds for the Frist Art Museum.

Kimberly is passionate about art, architecture and historic preservation. She calls her position with the Patronato her dream job. Her professional experience includes 18 years of nonprofit fundraising, as well as financial services marketing in Latin America and Europe.

She received her International MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and her BA in Foreign Languages and Art History from Southern Methodist University.

Kimberly was an active Rotarian in Nashville, and she is a former member of the Rotary Club of Tucson.
