Satu Pajkos, winner of this year’s Catalina Rotary Service to Humanity Award at the Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation (SARSEF) Science Fair, presented his project to the club.

Program
Matt Matthewson introduced our speaker, Grace Stocksdale, the executive director and co-founder of More Than A Bed, a family resource center for kids in foster care. Grace shared her organization’s history and operations with us, as well as many great photographs of beautiful kids and industrious volunteers. She also showed us their large, new warehouse, near Prince Rd. and First Ave., which was provided by an anonymous donor. More Than A Bed is always in need of donated clothing and furnishings for families taking on the responsibilities of caring for foster children. They also always need volunteers and monetary donations. More information is available at morethanabed.org.
