Rodeo beer sales a success - 2/18-2/26/2006

Catalina's 2006 Rodeo Beer Sales set a new record for sales: $71,000 gross, which was shared with the Tucson Rodeo Committee. Kudos to Ken and Cynthia Silvers, their booth had the highest sales: $6,000. Thanks to everyone who helped sell suds!

Catalina pancakes rule! - 2/23/2006

Catalina Rotary Rodeo Pancake Breakfast chairman Joe Hernandez reports another record year! After expenses, Catalina netted almost $3,000. That's a lot of flapjacks, folks. Thanks and congratulations to all who contributed.

Sweeping Skyline Drive - 4/22/2006

On the 36th anniversary of Earth Day, Matt Matthewson led the charge on our semi-annual road clean up. We left Skyline Drive spic and span. Thanks to 7-Eleven for providing snacks and a place to gather.

Raising money for KUAT-TV - 9/9/2006

Catalina Club members, family and friends pitched to take pledges during KUAT-TV's fall fund drive. The club's shift was a busy one, with members taking in $34,885 in pledges! Overall, KUAT raised $209,251.

Cleaning up our adopted road - 10/14/2006

Once again, Catalina Rotarians, family and friends donned gloves, hefted garbage bags and set out to help keep our stretch of Skyline Drive beautiful. The club's efforts are having an effect. There was a minimal amount of trash and the clean-up finished in record time. Afterwards, the clean-up crew gathered for complimentary snacks at Maggie Lavicio's 7-Eleven.
