Rodeo beer sales a success -
2/21-2/29/2004
Catalina members, family and friends once again slung suds
during the Tucson Rodeo. The weather was less than ideal, but
thanks to generous tips we made more money than last year,
even though we sold less beer. The club made close to $14,000,
all of which goes to the Milagro Playground Centennial
Project.

Rodeo fans flip over Catalina
pancakes! - 2/26/2004
This year’s Rodeo Parade Pancake Breakfast was the most
successful ever! Some stats: Gene Crandall and Leslie Galloway
flipped 2,200 flapjacks. Bruce and Katie Dusenberry fried 120
lbs. of pork sausage. Sharyn Chesser brewed 30 gallons (75
pots) of coffee. 545 people (45-50 more than last year) were
fed. Receipts at the door totaled $2,695. Donations are still
coming in, and Keith expects them to total $1,500. This is 3
TIMES greater than the amount donated last year! Diners also
left $70 in tips. Like the profits from the beer sales, the
pancake money is going to the Milagro Playground project.
