The Catalina Rotary Club's Projects
in Magdalena, Mexico

Catalina Rotary's reach extends "South of the Border." We've established a great relationship with the members of the Rotary Club of Magdalena, Mexico. Our joint goals: To help improve the lives of the children and residents of Magdalena.

During our trips to Magdalena we've conducted a health screening at a local food store, joined with local schoolchildren in a school painting project, thrown a party at a special needs school to dedicate a new play set donated by Catalina Rotary and assembled by Magdalena Rotarians and hosted Christmas parties at a local orphanage.

We've also toured Magdalena and enjoyed homemade Mexican dinners at the Magdalena Rotary club house. We expect our partnership with Magdalena to result in many more opportunities for service in the years to come.
