Tree Removal
January 4, 2005
The
Groundskeeper stepped in to help clear the way for the Milagro
Playground by removing three trees (2 eucalyptus and 1 palm in
locations not critical for park use) that were in the area where the
playground will be. "The Groundskeeper" performed the work for no
charge as a part of its contribution to the Catalina Centennial
Project.
The company will also remove the existing irrigation and provide new
irrigation throughout the playground area. The estimated cost of the
irrigation work is $13,500, but The Groundskeeper will do the
work for half price, or $6,750!
Thanks to Paul Mueller, Construction Manager at The Groundskeeper,
and to Sharyn Chesser and Sam Robison for coordinating the tree
removal with Paul. Thanks also to Anne Warner and Irene Volnick for
making first contact with The Groundskeeper.
