Honored by Metropolitan Pima Alliance

Catalina Rotary's Milagro Playground Centennial Project received top honors in the Community Development category at the 2005 Common Ground Awards.

2005 is the inaugural year of the Common Ground Celebration, a community recognition event sponsored by the Metropolitan Pima Alliance. Eighty nominees vied for recognition in ten categories.

MPA established the Common Ground Awards to honor and recognize organizations and individuals that have collaborated to overcome challenges and move the Tucson community forward. By combining their efforts, these individuals have raised the community standard and enriched our lives. MPA believes that collaborative work in the community by professionals in the building and real estate development industry, consultant firms and service providers, local, regional, state and national government officials, charitable organizations and individual citizens is the key to our shared and successful future.
